I’ve been very productive lately! I guess that doing so much art is a good way to get my mind off this heat. Montreal has been sweltering these last few days.
I was so excited about the outlining result in the last painting that I decided to try it again. I am really loving the thick black outline- I think it looks like I dipped my art in Illustrator (which was the effect I was after). What do you think about the new effect?
Meet posh Clara- you just caught her as she is about to pop off to the shops for a little summer shopping. After I drew her, she looked a little plain so I decided that she needed a cheery floral print dress. Doing the print was quite time consuming and challenging on the gathered bodice, but I think it looks great after it’s been painted bold orange.
Love the outlining! And the swerve in her step.
