I’m loving the pastel dresses I keep seeing online this summer, but I haven’t really seen that many on the street. Maybe I’m just not looking hard enough, or maybe I just haven’t forayed downtown lately where people might be more likely to don a pretty pale frock?
As much as I love looking at them, I don’t think the trend is for me- I never wear pastels well. Something about them don’t suit my skin tone, I think.
But that won’t stop me from drawing them. Meet Dorothy, in a pretty blue dress with ruby red sandals. The life of every party, there’s no way she will click her heels to go home anytime soon!
I like this refreshing, effervescent look. Dorothy looks like she could breeze her way through the heat.
